Applebee`s in Alameda

OKI was pleasantly surprised to find out Appelbee's has a monthly drink that cost $1Last months drink was great!This month not so much ...But for a buck this drink has some bite The staff are nice, the locals provide an interesting .... ambiance

Happy Hour is from 3-6pm. Then after 9pm. The food is always decent quality and our bartenders Crystal and Leah were very professional yet genuinely friendly.

I visit this spot a lot since I work nearby. I have to say the customer service is always awesome and they keep the spot clean all the time. Rates are affordable and they serve big portions.

How are they open for take out but don’t pick up the phone to take any orders I been calling for day now

Service is good and the ordering tablet is great and it works. However, quality of the food and passion is missing. There are a lot better fast casual and fast food restaurants with better quality and thoughtfulness. If I'm going to invest time to eat at a table side restaurant, it better be better and exciting than what's offered.

Excellent Service. Incredible Value for the price.I was so impressed with the service here. they were All very detail oriented and patient and fast! Rodriguez and Jan were incredible. They truly understand what Customer service is! The Margarita was "Perfect" (Really It Was!) I enjoyed the Quesadillas and Cesar Salad. The Hostess (around 3pm Sunday 6/2) was also very organized and extremely friendly considering she had a full lobby of customers waiting , some of whom Really , honestly forgot all their manners ! What a lively and fun place to watch the game and socialize .

I celebrated my birthday earlier this evening in this great restaurant. happy to tell that we had a delightful evening and the venue was indeed one of the reasons for this strong gathering. The waiters participated in a lovely style, the cuisine was delicious and my guests were very delighted. We shall surely visit again for more celebrations. thanks very much.

Used door dash delivery. Second time ordering from here and both times missing items. Other then that food is good. Mac n cheese NEEDS cheese. I feel like I get better portions though when you eat at restaurant.

This place is fantastic and broad, the menu was delicious and the prices were very economical. quickly, effective service and very affable waiters. Recommended.

We were there for lunch. Drinks were served very quick and also the dishes were served in the right time. Very good starter and also the burgers were nice, but a little bit more sauce in the burger would be great.

The customer service is always prompt, awesome atmosphere, super nice staff members. Will visit here again when I get in town.

My waiter Patrick was great 10stars but the food a s service on the other hand was horrible, waited 2 hours for cold, greasy food. The drinks where watered down. And the service constantly getting the order wrong. The server Patrick did all he could being the only one really working the floor. The manager was rude as hell, created an agreement between the table and her self. The atmosphere was cool just the manager and service (outside of Patrick)was horrible.

Great service with my too long of a wait I recommend the 8oz steak from the 2 for 27

Great service. Food is ok. Always enjoy the lunchtime environment with the kids.

So so. Service very confusing. One server took drink orders which did not arrive. Questions about menu unanswered. Just sort of sporadic attention. In all, we saw 5 people. Salsa and chips not that great. Entree salads passable. Oh well.

Our server Crystal was the best! Very friendly and attentive with our orders and made sure we were taken care of. She is a credit to that location and we highly recommend them to any and all who are in the area!

Our waitress was awesome...the food not so much. The best thing about a chain restaurant is usually the food is always the same and you know what your getting. My wife's burger was a hockey puck even though she asked for it medium rare. My riblets were dry. Our waitress took care of us even though it wasn't her fault. I'd give her five stars.

I go here a couple times a year and every year I have a problem with the service. We went for my actual Birthday. I ordered a adult beverage and showed my ID. The waitress looked past my birthday. Never acknowledged that it was my day. We couldn't get napkins. We asked 3 different servers. I practically begged another server. Our server was more concerned with her friend with kids than us. She paid us no attention even gave desserts to them lol. The food was good. Glad it came on time. Bad service from the waitress.

Service a little bit slow but always with a smile. Food is great for a chain restaurant, nice combos to choose. The bar section is a plus for happy hours with beers and wings, watch TV and /or chit-chat with friends, co-workers and family.

The long wait while there were several open tables (7+) the wait was so long I was able to go shop at 3 stores that I had No plans on visiting AND Still had more time to wait. Our orders were continuously Wrong after several attempts to get it Right by 3 different servers. The food was TERRIBLE, COLD, NO seasonings, Not what we ordered. The sad part of it was this was my 1st time out of the house /hospital in a year (health reasons). I'd been waiting for what Was my all time favorite meal here artichoke dip, mozzarella sticks and a Quesadilla burger which I Only received was the sticks. I used to love this place. I learned a $100.00+ lesson that they kept trying to add items to that we NEVER received.

Clean restaurant and polite staff but service was kind of slow because they didn't have enough staff, according from one staff member. Food was okay and my drink was kind of too sweet, didn't taste like a MARGARITA. Parking, no problem.

It's a pretty good place to go for food that all types can enjoy, easy american type cuisine. Good for families with kids. Nice seating , great AC for hot days and it's in the mall . Check it out as u charge up your Tesla!

We got the $15 all you can eat riblets, fried shrimp and chicken tenders. First, you can’t actually get all three in one order. You have to pick one and it comes with a heaping pile of fries. Let’s just say we were not really there for the fries. When you’re done with your first order you have to wait for the server to order more, and the more waiting. It took about 20 minutes to get our second plates. More fries and about 6 fried shrimp. Three rounds of ordering was as much as we could take. We asked for them to skip the fries but our third order came with another pile of fries. I’m guessing if you want more than a handful of shrimp, or a good amount of riblets or tenders, you’ll be there a long time. You will get a lot of fries to fill you up. The food was ok, but the meal experience left a bad taste in our mouths.

Good, seems like they're always busier then they have staff for. But the $1 drinks keep us coming back!

Pretty darn good. The double crunch shrimp isn't amazing but it's good. It needs a special sauce besides cocktail sauce. The drinks a great. Service is always great! And this place is good!

The food was not as good as the other Applebee's I've tried at least not today. My vodka strawberry lemonade was weak also. My server on the other hand was wonderful.

I've not been to Applebees in years.Went for lunch today.Wow, has it changed...for the worse.Chef Boyardee has better pasta.Very disappointed.

I was with a party of 10. The servers were hospitable and very attentive. We had a good time in the nice environment. Unfortunately, the food looked a lot better on the menu than it actually tasted. I was disappointed by how tasteless my dish was - shrimp and broccoli. I was happy with the French Fries. The other people in my party were both satisfied and dissatisfied. So I guess you just take a chance, like anywhere else, when it comes to this type of restaurant.

I simply loved their food. I always get excellent customer service there. The place is well kept and the cashiers are always helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The service wasnt good the food wasnt all thay good my husband been rip off of his money by the server did lie say he gave him 70 but he gave her 100 bills we will never go back to Applebee in alameda

The menu and service were ahead of my expectations. We absolutely enjoyed the environment of this place. Fantastic spot to take the family out for lunch.

This place is my number one site. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to visit this place. when I want to go to a decent dinner, this restaurant comes instantly to my head. splendid and all sorts of food and a rich cuisine.professional team, and pleasant vibes. In addition to that, the tariff is reasonable. I sent my friends to this place with no doubt.

Service was pretty slow as they were training a new waitress. Price was good for the amount of food we got, and they have a lot of deals. The taste of the food is not bad. I surprisingly really liked the Cedar Lime Chicken. Must try! They offer free brownie dessert for your birthday, too. Sweet plus!

Our waitress was awesome Marquita!!! She is all smiles, food on point nice and 🔥 and made sure we had everything we needed! Best waitresses ever!!! I hope i get her the next time we come back!!❤❤❤😍😍

When I come back home Applebees is on the list to eat. They have great food and fast, friendly and professional servers/cooks. A must when in Alameda, CA.

We enjoy Applebee's. Parking at a shopping mall is very convenient. The food is very good. The steaks are cooked perfectly. We always enjoy their side salads. We hope Applebee's will be around for a long time because it is one of our favorite restaurants.

This night we got fast service. Our waiter was on his job, he was always on the move. He took very good care of his customers. Food was good. I never thought we would try the special, two for $22.00 but we did, it worked out for the two of us. Wife can be difficult when it comes to food, all was good this time. Don't know if we'll go back because it is quite a drive.

My Alameda experience didnt have the best food or service that I'd expect from this chain but it was convenient to the shopping mall

Order food online and went into restaurant for pick-up. The experience in the restaurant was fine. Had a cocktail while waiting for my order. Excellent Margarita! Staff was friendly, food arrived while I finished my drink and off for home to enjoy my hopefully delicious meal. But, unfortunately, after getting all the way home I find that the bread which comes with the salad I ordered had been left out of the bag. A little disappointed, but still looking forward to my salad. But, again, disappointed! What is the central ingredient missing? Salad dressing! No dressing for the sald!!! Big bummer! If I had wanted grilled chicken dry and vegetables plain I would have stayed home and saved myself the money, the drive and the disappointment. Thanks. . .NOT!When people go to a full service restaurant, they don't expect to have to double check their food like they're in the drive thru at McDonald's!

Didn't mind the half hour wait for a table, Our waiter seemed overwhelmed with the busy Sunday crowd, i received my main dish(loaded fajitas)15min before my guest received theirs, and they ordered the loaded fajitas as well, so disappointing...also after ordering a round of cocktails, we received the bill, not the cocktails, we left a little disappointed with our experience.

We were seated promptly on Sunday, 9/22. There were quite a few empty tables. Waiter was prompt. Beverages came fast. Salads took 45 mins. Entrees came an hour & 20 mins later. Entrees weren't hot or even warm. We took it in stride as the waiter kept apologizing. It seemed work staff was low because we didn't see many waiters. The greeter started clearing tables. Wasn't a pleasant experience but we still like this place. We'll give them another chance.
